BYU Adventures

Every August BYU sponsors a huge "party" with several of their sports teams, with the football team being the main attraction. My boys loved going last year, so we planned a repeat visit for this year. Once again it was a hit. Our first stop was to pick up the $5 football t-shirts. You just can't go wrong with a $5 shirt.

Next we lined up with the masses to get autographs. We even knew what we were doing this year and it still took us an hour and a half to get all the signatures .

I waited in one line while Brian took the boys through the other line and that strategy worked out pretty well.

Ethan even managed to snag this photo with BYU's freshman quarterback, Jake Heaps.

Tanner's looks forward to the races that the track team sponsors. He begged to participate from the moment we arrived. I think he must have raced over and over and over for about 45 minutes. Ethan raced a few times too, but didn't have the endurance that Tanner had.

We need to sign this boy up for track and field.

Ethan threw the football a few times, but those college sized balls are much bigger than what he is used to playing with.

All in all it was a fun night. We know that BYU isn't the greatest team this year, but we still like them rain or shine. BYU is, after all, my alma mater. So go BYU!
