What We Did in the Month of May

Tanner started playing coach pitch baseball in April, but the weather was so terrible that games didn't really get swinging until May.  He got to play with two of his neighborhood friends, T & J and they really enjoyed playing together.

 We sat outside and froze during most of the games, but occassionally it was really nice outside and it was fun to watch him play and enjoy the sunshine.

 Bradon and Tanner were patient as I traipsed all over the valley looking for plants for our garden.  They posed below at a nursery in Riverton.  I bought plenty of delosperma to grow in the dry and desolate regions of our front yard and they're doing great now that it's July.

 Bradon rediscovered the wonders of ice cream and has come to love it in all forms, but particularly if it's on a stick.

 Tanner taught himself how to ride his bike.  Well, he actually said that our neighbors A & T gave him a lesson an he came inside wanting me to see him ride.  Sure enough he was a pro in no time and has loved riding his bike ever since.

 Bradon found it tough to keep up with his brothers sometimes and falls asleep late in the day.  That makes it hard to go to sleep at night and that's why he fell asleep on our stairs one evening when he should have been in bed.

 Tanner graduated from preschool and they had a small ceremony at the library.

 He loved preschool and made a couple of really good friends there.

 Ms. Shannon was a great teacher and super patient with him.

 What a face!  I love that Tanner boy and I'm so proud of him.  He can't wait to start kindergarten in a few weeks and is excited to go to school with Ethan.

 Anders just keeps getting cuter by the day and we love his big smiles and now his fun laugh.

 In May he was just beginning to reach for objects.  I just can't imagine life without him.

 The boys spent a lot of time listening to books on their MP3 player or on CD because the weather was so crummy outside.  However, whenever there was a nice day they were sure to be found outside soaking up the sun and enjoying their bikes and friends.
