Picking the Perfect Pumpkin

In years past we've usually been able to grow our own pumpkins for carving in our garden, but since we moved at the end of May we didn't really have much of a garden this year. That meant we had to go out and search for our pumpkins.

It turns out we live by a nice locally owned pumpkin patch just off of 9000 South and so we went there one night in mid-October to find our pumpkins. I had three wonderful pro-pumpkin pickers to help me out, and one helpful husband to wheel them about.
Bradon liked just about every pumpkin he saw.
Ethan was a little more particular and had to inspect each one.
Tanner found lots of pumpkins that he liked, but mostly loved racing through the patch.
Bradon also liked posing for pictures.
That looks like a great pumpkin! And here are my boys with their pickings. They did a great job. It was a fun evening and very affordable. I think we'll have to try it again next year.

We go to that same patch every year. Their fruit for sale is so yummy too. Looks like you got some great pumpkin pickers.
