We had tickets for one more park day, but after the late night everyone was pretty tired. We slept in and, checked out of our hotel and checked in for our flights and then made our way over to Downtown Disney. We did a little more shopping and then met Chris and Susie for lunch at Wolfgang Puck's. One more taste of yumminess. Bradon and Ethan just loved their cheese pizza and Tanner loved the chicken fingers.
Doesn't it look so good?
After eating lunch we went to the Earl of Sandwich to use our last remaining quick service credits to get dinner for the airplane. It was nice to have yummy food for our flight home. It even worked out that we got to taste the Holiday Sandwich since they made an error on my mom's order. We stopped by Goofy's Candy Shop to use our last snack credits and we got some fudge to eat once we got home. The boys loved the fudge, especially the pumpkin variety.
One more snapshot at Downtown Disney and we were on our way home. Chris and Susie flew out of Tampa and we left out of Orlando. The boys were good on the flight home and Anders slept most of the way from Atlanta to Salt Lake. We arrived home completely exhuasted.
We stayed for 10 nights this time. The boys thought it was too short, and I thought it was just about right. The boys keep asking if we can go back and stay longer next time. I think they're Disney junkies like me! It's so fun to go on a vacation where there's something for everyone. I also like it when we can take advantage of the free dining promotion and know up front what the whole vacation will cost. The only out of pocket expenses are souvenirs and tips. You can get around fine without a car, but we like the convenience of having a car to leave most of the parks except the Magic Kingdom. It seems to make more sense to take the bus to the Magic Kingdom.
We loved Port Orleans French Quarter and would definitely stay there again assuming my parents come along and can house a child or two for us. There aren't a lot of hotel choices for a family of six.
We can't wait until next time! Maybe December 2013? Anyone else on board?
